I didn't do a ton of art in 2007 it seems! So 2008 had to make up for it.
Animal Crossing
I was practicing some technique with this sketch from the Nintendo game. Done entirely with a mouse,
no less!

Dog Poop
A public service comic I created for a newsletter. Not my greatest drawing but I like the joke and I think the
dog is cute.
|
Captain Olimar
The hero of the Nintendo game Pikmin with two of the namesake critters standing nearby. I really like the poses and lines
on this one.
|
Tent Trailer
A sketch of a neighbour's tent trailer. Not much to say here, I thought it turned out pretty good for a "quick and dirty".
|
Roman Helmet
Because wearing a dog on your head was fashionable during the Roman Empire...the helmet was originally
clip art scavanged from the web.
|
Knee Ads
Printing ads on a pretty woman's knees is one of the ideas in the 1947 book "Discovered: 505 Odd Enterprises".
The ads are supposed to be Nike and Pepsi logos, but they're kind of small - I guess that's
the drawback of knee advertising!
|
Feel 1
I was trying to capture the feeling of an old mountain photograph with the colours here.
|
Feel 2
In a moment of drama, I added a cloud of blood pouring into the lake. Thanks to the magic of computers the original was not lost.
|
Trident Sketches
Four sketches done on the inside of a Trident gum box while waiting for a concert to start.
|
Zero Suit Samus
Instantly popular for her skin-tight outfit, Zero Suit Samus became a big fan-art subject after appearing
in the videogame Super Smash Bros. Brawl. This is my contribution to the trend, done in an online
figure-sketching group.
